Experienced Structural Engineer needed for small engineering firm located in Chesterton, IN. Position could be hourly or salaried, depending on candidate's situation. Position could be office based, work-from-home, or hybrid, depending on candidate's situation. Projects located primarily in IN/IL/MI. Illinois S.E. license preferred, but not mandatory. Construction and/or Contract Admin. background preferred. Job duties include engineering, design, building code study, product research, email/phone communication, site inspection/reports, submittal/shop drawing review, Excel spreadsheets, AutoCAD drafting. Workload consists of a mix of Commercial, Industrial, and Residential projects of varying size and type.
