Scale is seeking a candidate with an engineering or construction management degree to fill a full time position in Construction Engineering Inspector. This position is for construction engineering work on a major infrastructure project that will require the integration of the Illinois Tollway expansion with the one of world’s busiest airports and major rail lines.
This position will include training in all aspects of construction engineering inspection. Including but not limited to earth excavation, embankment, retaining wall and drainage inspection, concrete and reinforcement inspection, and certification in documentation of contract quantities. The position will be part of the Construction Management and Engineering team tasked with successfully completing this critical project.
Candidates should have strong teamwork skills, willing to learn, leadership, a desire to be part of this major transportation critical project, an understanding of project/jobsite safety, flexibility. Candidates should have their own vehicle and be able to locate to the Chicago area. Competitive salary and benefits based on degree and experience. Looking for a March 2022 start.
