We are happy to announce the kick off of our Simpson Strong-Tie® Student Scholarship for Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, and Construction Management students for the upcoming Fall 2021/2022 school year.
The Simpson Strong-Tie Student Scholarship program assists students who are pursuing undergraduate study in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management to support education and encourage the design and building of safer structures in our communities. Your school has been selected to participate in the program. The scholarship award is $2,000. The deadline to submit the application and required materials online is March 15, 2021. Information along with link to the online application is available on our website at: www.strongtie.com/scholarships. We will also be hosting a short webinar to answer questions about the scholarship, and introduce other ways Simpson Strong-Tie can support your staff and students, in the next few weeks. Look for an invitation soon.
Please help us spread the word to your students so they can take advantage of the opportunity to apply. Pass the information on via email to students and professors and post to department bulletins boards where the staff and students frequent. I have attached the program poster along with the brochure to help promote the scholarship. If you are no longer the person handling scholarships or are not interested in participating in the program, please let me know.
