Full-time Staff Engineer Position - (Golden, Loveland, or Colorado Springs, Colorado)

General Summary: Staff Engineers are involved in the design of municipal and private water and wastewater systems, site development including, road design, grading, and storm water design, infrastructure engineering, transportation engineering, or related areas.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for addressing internal and external plan review comments.
• Assisting in preparing a variety of site plans, plan and profile drawings, grading plans, utility plans and roadway plans.
• Work on AutoCAD, site grading, drainage and utility design.

Other Functions:

• Deliver and pick up plans to and from clients and municipal entities.
• Preparing comment response letters and binding reports.
• Plan reproduction and assembly.
• Permit Preparation
• Site visits and inspections & assist in preparing and following project budgets and schedules

Job Qualifications:

• Internship Experience to 4 years of civil engineering experience preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MS Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to include proposal writing and reporting.
• Proven ability to work independently and ability to work remote and communicate as part of a team.
• Must have ability to recognize and re-prioritize direction and priorities from may different people.
