ATMI Precast is seeking a Designer (Engineer-in-Training)
Summary of Job
This position is an entry-level, engineering track position, responsible for: applying learned academic engineering experiences to real-life engineering problems; learning new engineering design methodologies; learning in-house engineering software; performing engineering design for components and connections, 3D finite element analysis and design, 3D modeling of structures under guidance of senior staff; learning and performing document preparation in both CAD and BIM environments; and, as requested, managing staff to perform assigned tasks.
Qualifications
Bachelors in Architectural, Civil, or Structural Engineering, Masters preferred or equivalent work- and industry related experience (as allowed under licensure by the state of Illinois).
