I am excited
to announce that EWB are hosting the third annual World Water Day celebration at
Purdue with theme water and climate change. This celebration is part of the
United Nations World Water Day (https://www.worldwaterday.org/) that is celebrated annually. The event is an opportunity to
educate Purdue students, faculty and the local community about what various organizations are doing to protect, preserve and enhance the
water resources of our state.
The day
will consist of an exhibit hall from 3-5 pm in STEW 214 ABCD. For this event we
are looking for industry representatives, student groups, and local water
organizations to participate by displaying booths to share interactive,
educational demonstrations or information about what they do with regards to
water. We are also looking for students to present research posters.
In the
evening there will be an expert panel on Water & Climate change from 5:30-7
in WALC, Hiler Theater on Thursday March 26, 2020 that will consist of Purdue professors that will be open
to the public.
