Transportation Engineer Position with Michigan Department of Transportation

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer, located in Lansing, Michigan.
This position will complete/oversee a variety of assignments in one or more specialized areas of traffic engineering involving actions taken to reduce highway crashes.  This position will assist the Safety Data and Modeling Engineering Specialist in providing support to the Regions and TSCs in using software and tools associated with the department's implementation of the AASHTO Highway Safety Manual (HSM) and the supportive analytical tools (Safety Analyst, Interactive Highway Safety Design Model (IHSDM), HSM Spreadsheets.
Possession of a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering or in civil and environmental engineering.
