Summary:

Kapur is seeking a Civil / Transportation Engineer based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Civil Engineer will plan, design, and prepare engineering plans for freeways, urban and rural highways, and construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and design, surface transportation systems for freeways, highways, and local streets.
  • Knowledge and/or experience to analyze crashes and improve safety for the traveling public.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in preparing/assisting in environmental documents.
  • Knowledge and experience in transportation roadway design standards and guidelines.
  • Knowledge in preparing transportation related project reports.
  • Prepare project contract, scope budgets, and schedules.
  • Leading and participating in project public involvement aspects of the project.
  • Knowledge in quality assurance and quality control aspects of transportation projects.
  • Prepare construction cost estimates, plans, and specifications.
  • Project team leader to guide and oversee day-to-day project operations.
Qualifications/Education

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in either Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering
  • 0-5 year’s experience in related field
  • AutoCAD/Civil3D Preferred
  • Technical writing skills
