WSP is located in Federal Way, WA, about 30 minutes South of Seattle downtown. The group heavily focuses on marine and waterfront structural design works (e.g. piers, wharves, etc). As an intern, you will be working on site in the Federal Way office closely under a senior level mentor and get a lot of practice using the knowledge you gained from the steel or concrete design classes at Purdue. You may be helping other engineers perform calculations to some design details in large projects. The group is one of the best maritime structure design groups in Pacific Northwest region.
