Important Letter from CE Student Advisory Council President - Applicants Sought

Hello Civils,

I hope everyone is excited to be back again this semester. We are excited to announce that the Civil Engineering Student Advisory Council will be recruiting new members before this year’s CESAC Civil Engineering Career Fair. The Civil Engineering Student Advisory Council (CESAC) is a student organization whose purpose is to increase and augment relationships between students, industry, and faculty within the Civil Engineering market. We have been in existence since 1998.

Members of CESAC are responsible for utilizing an annual income from our career fair to host events and supplement changes within the School of Civil Engineering. Examples of this include sole responsibility for organizing the annual 100+ company Civil Engineering Career Fair, Civil Socials, CE Week, the construction of the green roof, updating drinking fountains, adding whiteboards to Pankow Lounge, and much more. Our members meet on a weekly basis to plan and discuss these events. For more information about our events please click here.

If you are interested in standing out as a leader within the school of Civil Engineering, this organization is for you. Applications are due no later than Friday, September 3rd at 5:00 PM. Late applications will not be accepted. Selected candidates will be notified of their interview date. If you have any issues accessing or submitting the survey, please let us know at purduecesac@gmail.com

For more detailed information about CESAC and to meet many of our members, please attend our CESAC Callout tomorrow, Thursday, August 26 at 6:00 pm in HAMP 1113.

Please find the application HERE.

Best,

Andrew Bowman
