JQOL is seeking a dynamic experienced Structural Engineer to join our growing team. The Structural Engineer would perform structural design and analysis. Compile calculations, review construction drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
The Structural Engineer would also:
- Assist with the preparation of
detailed engineering reports and supporting documents.
- Coordinate drawings with other
disciplines (architects, mechanical engineers, etc.)
- Process strong planning and
organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure on multiple
project deadlines
- Coordinate deadlines with
professionals from other firms
- Have excellent attention to
detailing of complex building components
- Coordinate with BIM models
using Revit
Qualifications:
- BS in Civil Engineering; MS in
Civil Engineering is a plus
- FE/EIT with the ability to
obtain PE. NCEES Record preferred or Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
- Experience with AutoCAD and
willingness to learn Revit
- Experience with RAM Structural
Systems, Tekla Structural Designer, or RISA.
- Knowledge of building design
codes
- Computer skills - Excel,
Outlook and Word software.
- Experience in Bluebeam Revu software required
