The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer, located in Lansing, Michigan.
This position will provide guidance, assistance and expertise for the application and evaluation of existing and proposed roadside barriers utilized on state roadways. Perform analyses necessary to develop recommendations pertaining to the geometrics and operational characteristics of intersections, interchanges and roadways. The purpose is to provide for the safest, most cost-effective, efficient, maintainable and functionally operational roadway design for motor vehicle operators on the Michigan state trunkline system.
Possession of a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering or civil and environmental engineering is required.
