The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer, located in Lansing, Michigan.
This position This position functions as the recognized resource in the design on the Michigan Line, other state owned lines, and Freight Exclusive Use Property (FEUP). Design and prepare preliminary and final plans and proposal material for projects on the Michigan Line, other state owned lines, and FEUP utilizing standard design practices and computerized design systems. Coordinate and review consultant and railroad company prepared plans. Assist on contracts and agreements with railroad companies and consultants.
Possession of a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering or in civil and environmental engineering is required.
