Full Time Position – Sustainability Engineer opportunity 

Las Vegas Sands Corp. is seeking an individual with a graduate or undergraduate degree in Architectural Engineering.  Anticipated project involvement and relevant experience for each includes:
  • New Building/ Major Renovation Optimized Engineering (engineering and financial analysis)
  • Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVSC) is the world’s premier developer of large scale integrated resorts varying in size from approximately 5 million square feet to 11 million square feet with construction costs to as much as six billion dollars (USD).  The person in this role will work closely with LVSC’s premier consultants and contractors to ensure substantial investments in engineering infrastructure yield optimized performance on both a first cost and lifecycle cost basis from earliest concepts through project completion, commissioning and long term monitoring.  Utilizing and updating LVSC’s Sustainable Development Standards helps guide consultant and contractor teams with these critical initiatives. 
  • Building Optimization Engineering (evaluating and implementing the latest engineering technologies)
  • LVSC has already constructed more than 60 million square feet of buildings in the United States and Asia with total annual utility bills over $120M USD.  In order to fulfill our commitment to environmental excellence we continuously study and implement “EcoTracker” infrastructure optimization projects to minimize energy and water consumption. 
  • Providing Engineering Assistance to LVSC Departments (interpersonal skills, project management and business acumen)
  • Issues arise with our properties that require engineering judgment to develop appropriate upgrades, procure consultants and contractors, and monitor projects.  Examples include environmental code compliance, unexpected equipment failures, etc.Attending Engineering Conferences to Understand Best Practices and Trends
