The primary responsibility of
the Corporate Intern – Las Vegas Sands Corp. is to assist in project activities
of the division and learn the key operating procedures of the departments
assigned. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and
Las Vegas Sands Corp.’s policies, practices, and procedures.

- Support and assist with deliverables
- Conduct comprehensive research and perform analysis on our markets
- Shadow team members in other Corporate departments to receive a broad perspective of LVSC

Minimum
Qualifications- 21 years of age.

- Preferred: A minimum of a BA/BS in related field of study
- Preferred: Current participant in or graduate or Master’s degree program in business or a related field
- Preferred: 2 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to anticipate and address issues.
- Advanced analytical skills
- Advanced proficiency in relevant systems and MS suite are essential.
- A certification in a related specialty is a definite plus
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain [list required licenses, such as a valid Nevada Driver's License, Alcohol Awareness (TAM) card, etc.] and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience.
- Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to:
- Physically access all areas of the property and drive areas with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers and contacts.
- Ability to interact appropriately and effectively with guests, management, other team members, and outside contacts.
- Ability for prolonged periods of time to walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
- Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
- Work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT, noise, dust, and cigarette smoke.
Program Overview
Las Vegas Sands Corp. is offering a 10-week paid internship
to both undergraduate and graduate students. The focus of the internship
program is to allow students the opportunity to view a successful integrated
hospitality company by partnering with specific departments and providing
exposure to operational activities and strategic projects.
Upon hire, each intern will be placed into areas of
expressed interest within the company and will be assigned learning objectives
for that position. The primary goal of the intern is to learn the
responsibilities of the position and complete all required learning objectives
as assigned.
During the internship, participants will:
- Be assigned a divisional mentor
- Have bi-weekly meetings with Talent & Organizational Development
- Have a structured learning program
- Attend 2 opportunities with Sands Cares
- Have the opportunity to spend time with top executives for Q&A
- Participate in a group project
