What is it?
  • Go Green in the City is a Global Business Case Challenge sponsored by Schneider for students to solve re-life challenges within energy management
  • We provide real world business challenges in Sustainability & Inclusivity, Digital Economy, Smart Manufacturing & Supply Chain, Cyber Security, or, you can submit your own unique idea!

Who can participate?
  • The Challenge is open to two-member teams from anywhere in the world with at least one female member.  To take part you must:
    • Be an MBA, Master’s or Bachelor’s student (at least 2nd year) in Business or Engineering
    • You and your teammate must study in the same country for the duration of the competition
    • Be proficient in English
What do participants win? 

  • The WINNING team will win job offers from Schneider Electric, and a trip to two of Schneider Electric’s international offices!
  • The Top 10 teams will be invited on a fully sponsored trip to the US Innovation Summit to make their pitch in the Finals and win the Grand Prize
  • The top teams in North America will be invited to an all-expense paid trip to compete in the Semi-finals to earn $1,000 and a spot in the Finals.
  • 100+ semi-finalists will be paired with a professional mentor from Schneider Electric to coach them through building out a business case.
  • Go Green Champs Award: Awarded to the three teams that have the highest total score for the completed quizzes
  • Women in Business Award: Teams with two female members stand to win a place in the finals and a total cash prize of USD $1,000
  • Social Star Award: Top 10 finalist teams collect votes on their entries shared via Social Media – one team will win USD $500 for each team member
