The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Engineer Licensed Specialist, located in Lansing, Michigan.
Serve the department as the statewide specialist for statewide support for the Department's engineering software programs for parametric roadway and site design modeling). Responsible in charge of the Department's components and templates for MDOT's custom roadway design libraries. Statewide specialist responsible for the coordination and development of roadway design modeling training programs for statewide staff and engineering consultant organizations. Responsible and in charge of developing and maintaining the statewide roadway modeling design submittal requirements in accordance with MDOT Civil Integrated Management (CIM) goals and other federal design automation initiatives such as Every Day Counts (EDC).
Possession of a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering or in civil and environmental engineering.
